Be Fruitful and Multiply

I. God’s original intention.
Genesis 1:26-28 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
A. Man, in relationship with Father God, was to exercise authority as God’s representative in the earth.
B. With that authority, he was to develop Kingdom fruit and spread it throughout the earth.
C. Where ever anything was not in subjection to the Kingdom, Father God’s man was authorized to bring it into submission.
D. God’s ruling man was to reproduce after “his kind”, thus multiplying Kingdom Sons to further carry out the mandate of God.
E. The suffering of Jesus Christ was intended to bring about this multiplication process.
Hebrews 2:10 “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

II. Prophecy concerning Jesus Christ declares that the government of His Kingdom will continue to increase.
Isaiah 9:6-7a “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,”
A. As God’s people increase in understanding and in number, the Kingdom is further increased and established.
B. God’s glory is established in the increase of His Kingdom.
Proverbs 14:28 “In a multitude of people is a king’s honor,”
C. We have a responsibility to leave those following after us in a greater Kingdom position that what we started with.
D. As Kingdom revelation (subdue and have dominion) comes to us we build a basis for Kingdom establishment for future generations.
1. Look at the advancement of scientific discoveries.
2. Every discovery opens ever expanding opportunities for greater discoveries.
3. Various studies indicate that knowledge is doubling every 5 to 15 years. (Depending on which source you go to.)
Daniel 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

III. As we pray “on earth as it is in heaven” we are actually praying spiritual eyes to be opened to heavens resources in order that we may begin to make proclamation that establishes Kingdom reality where we’re at.
A. Subduing or conquering through prayer and proclamation overcomes the enemy who comes to rob, steal, kill and destroy.
John10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
B. God is raising up a company of sons and daughters who have received revelation concerning their sonship and the authority that comes with it.
Hebrews 11:32-35a “And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35Women received their dead raised to life again.”
C. Examples of those who walked in that authority and proclaimed the Kingdom.
1. John Wesley. Could be heard by crowds of thousands-no microphone. Many fell out in the Spirit-warned to stay out of the trees.
2. Maria Woodworth-Etter. People In her meetings went into trances and saw visions of heaven and hell. One time she went into a trance while preaching, came out of it 2 days later, and continued from mid-sentence where she left off.
3. John G. Lake. So many healings in Spokane, Wa., it was declared the healthiest city in America.
4. Smith Wigglesworth. Pulled a dead man out of a casket and stood him against the wall repeatedly until he came back to life. (23 total reported) Spoke through a keyhole and brought salvation to someone contemplating suicide.
D. Father God is releasing His Sons and Daughters to carry out the Kingdom mandate in this day and age.
Mark 16:15-18 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

IV. We must purposefully set ourselves to gain Kingdom revelation and to walk in the dominion that revelation brings to us. That’s what Moses did and it changed his life forever.
Exodus 3:3-4 “Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”  4So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
